My husband colored my white cat with sharpie accent highlighters - non toxic. How long will it last on her? I can't believe he did this, but now I'm stuck with it. So how long will it last and is there anything faster than a dozen baths to get it out of her long white fur quickly? HELP!!!!!!!!!!! My husband is a pretty awesome guy, even though he does have a mischevious side to him. I did call poison control and the non-toxic markers will not her, and he spent last nite being "the bad guy" giving her baths. So it's all out for now. But please if this is the most horrible thing he ever does, than i think i have it pretty smooth. All i asked for was advice on how to take care of my cat, let me take care of my husband.
Besides lemon juice, does anyone know any natural hair highlighters? I would like to know if there are any 'at home' remedies or recipies for my hair to naturally highlight it. Its light brown with natural blonde highlights which come out in the summer, and I am looking for a way to 'speed up' the process. I go to the pool alot and tan, and my hair gradually gets lighter, but like i said, i'm trying to speed it up. I heard lemon juice works sometimes, and sometimes makes hair orangie, but i would like to know any other 'at home' recipies? Thanks a bunch :]
Make up advice please, whats the correct way to use those radiant touch highlighters? I've recently bought YSL Touch Eclat, and I'm beginning to wonder if I'm using it correctly, because so far I don't think its all that great, your advise would be most welcome thanks thanks, but I know where to apply it, my problem HOW to apply it, ie, before foundation, after foundation, before powder, after powder? etc.
Where can I find some "fun" highlighters? Hi My friend says he wants highlighters for Christmas (don't ask, he's an arty guy) and I was wondering, does anybody know of any sites where I can buy something a bit different to the convensional highlighter, and not in bulk? Thanks for any replies. :D
purple and green highlighters? I read somewhere that green highlighters make memorizing easier and purple highlighters help with understanding texts better. is this true?? Can someone add more details regarding this? and also, what other colors are connected to what part of the brain? I read this a few years ago and it's been on my mind for months now. thanks :)
What is Felt (on felt tip pens, highlighters) made of? (material)? I'm curious as to what the felt on a felt tip of a highlighter is made out of. I know that the middle part of a highlighter and the end/tip is different; I'm interested in finding out what the end (the part that is visible & writes) is made out of. It retains the moisture of the ink flowing down from the center of the highlighter and is relatively sturdy. Thank you in advance if you can help me figure it out! (also, if you dont mind sharing where you got your sources from.. thanks. :)
How do u use highlighters? My usual make up routine is foundation powder blusher and then mascara. I recently bought some illuminater. i know u put it on cheekbones and eyebrow line but do u put it over everything else or does it go under blusher or something? Whats the best way of using it to its full effect? Love Tinks xoxox
What makes highlighters have that "neon" color?? What makes the colors you see in fluorescent markers and crayons that bright "Oh my gosh my eyes hurt!" chemical-like color? Is there a chemical they add or what??? I asked this question before and I got crappy answers about NEON LIGHTS. I know the two are different. I'm asking what makes fluorescent colors, fluorescent? Like there is green, then there is neon green (and neon green is one color you can't make mixing others together)
will highlighters inks dry up if i dont use them for too long? i bought a lot at taiwan they are new and used maybe like twicebut i got new highlighters over here too, and am thinking of saving the ones i got from taiwan. if i keep them capped tight, will they still be good about 1 to 3 yrs later, staying in a storage box of writing materials, etc? thanks
Is there a special highlighter that blocks photocopying? I need to keep a hand written logbook of my work while on placement. Some of the work I will be doing contains some confidential information and I have heard that you can buy special highlighters that are designed to photocopy black highlight black. Anyone know where I can get one?
What are the components or elements that makes the ink of a highlighter? the highlighters are the one you use to highlight the important details on your books. I noticed that high lighters' ink doesnt fade or wash off like ordinary pen ink in water... just wondering if I can invent a pen someday using the same components of a highlighter and change the color and turn it to black, blue or red. So that in situations when you accidentally soak your notebook with important details, it will never fade or wash off.
How can you use a highlighter to highlight your hair? yes, i mean a real highlighter. i know it is possible because people in my school do it all the time....like with pink highlighters and blue highlighters and yellow ones too...i thought it was cool. and i just am curious how to do it. my hair is black. will it work on mine?
What are those highlighter things called? I've heard of these highlighters but instead of ink coming out of it, actual translucent tape stuff comes out so you can kind of highlight on certain words in a book but it can be removed because it's not ink.. if that makes sense please someone tell me what it is. btw i'm not talking about the highlighters that have post-it flag things attached to them.
How do I fix a dried up highlighter? So I left my highlighter out without its cap overnight and now it can't really highlight so well. Its a transparent highlighter so I clearly see that there are tons of liquid left inside... its just not flowing out. How do I fix this?
What is the best highlighter for the brow bone, and corner of the eyes? I usually use just pearly white eyeshadow, but it's not really noticable unless you're in really bright light, and I kinda just want something that pops, especially when I do a smokey eye. I've seen people on TV use a liquid, white/shimmery highlighter...and that seems like it would stay on alot longer (especially on the corner of your eyes) and that it'd show up better...but haven't been able to find any. Any recommendations? Thanks.
