What do you call pens that are opposite of retractable? I have a pen that I pull apart to use. It works oppositely of normal retractable pens. Retractable pens have a end which must be pushed in order to write. This pen must be pulled apart in order to write. I'd like to get more of these pens, but I don't even know where to begin to find them.
What are the best pens used for inking? I've been drawing anime for some years now, and I've always admired the really smooth work that professional artists do. I've tried Sakura Pigment pens, but the nibs get worn down really easily and the pens don't have that "smooth" quality to them that I'm looking for. I'd like to find a pen that would give me the best quality of manga. Preferably, these pens should come in a wide variety of sizes (from about .005 to whatever). Thanks!

What are a good brand of pens to ink comics with? Alright, so one of my best friends is a great artist and is really into comics, so I thought a good birthday gift idea would be to buy him some good pens to work with. Thanks for the help!
How does an artist create skin tones using a range of ballpoint pens? Hi, I'm an artist working with ballpoint pens on paper, I've made some pretty nice work with simple black on white, and recently I picked up a boatload of coloured ones. So far I've been unsuccessful in creating a good skin tone with them. Can anyone give me pointers as to how to get a skin tone down from pens?
How would you imprint your own pens/pencials? I am a small business owner, and I am wanting to get some promotional pens/pencials, but I am on a tight buget where I cannot spend $100 on pen with my imprint. I have looked into many different promotional pen places, but they are all too expensive. I have some of my own pens that are completely blank and I like them. How would I go about imprinting my own logo on them? I have tried to use clear address labels, but when the label gets wet, the ink runs....Any suggestions?
Is it harmful to draw on people with gel pens or regular pens? I want to start like a fake tattoo thing where they choose from my notebook what they want me to draw on them. How about a place that takes broken pens? I have tons of dried-up pens that are so out-of-date they don't make replacement ink fillers for them anymore. Is there someplace that recycles pens, or is collecting them for a project?
What is the brand name of the fountain pens that students use in Germany? I lived in Germany in 1988/1989 and attended second and third grade there. In school, we all used fountain pens. I'm looking for those pens now - not fancy, overpriced fountain pens that are available in America. They were plastic and came in many designs, and were refillable with short ink cartridges. What brand names should I search for?
What are some tips on how to get ink pens to work? Low quality, but brand new ink pens are not working. Some of them start working after minutes of scribbling. Any tips on what to do to get the ink working properly? Ok! I tried the flame/heat and that was unsuccessful. We can not buy better pens because these are used at the college for when big groups of students come on trips. The college provided us with these pens. Anyways the solution wasn't heat or more scribbling. All we had to do was put some muscle into it! When we pushed the pen really hard into the paper and scribbled they started working better. Thnks for the tips though!

If anyone knows where I can get these from that would be awesome! I would like to get some formy uni work. Thanks a bunch guys, Merry Christmas!

I want to do them in art pens, but I have very little experience drawing and coloring with them. What happened to those disposable fountain pens? A year or so ago, I was in Wal Mart and saw some disposable fountain pens and thought, "What a great idea!" Can I use technical pens to ink my manga drawings? So I really hate the idea of using a nib pen to ink my manga drawings and I don't want to spend the time trying to learn how if its avoidable. I have heard that you can get the same effects with technical pens of different sizes. This is really just a hobby but I still need a pen that will produce nice lines and can be painted over in watercolor or copic marker without smearing. Any advice would be appreciated!

Where can i buy cattery pens on the internet? Hello everyone, I'm starting a cattery in the U.k for people going on thier holidays who want thier cat to be looked after while thier away. The only thing left for me to do is to buy the pens, like pet houses for me to keep the cats in. I need them to be a decent size, and do not mind investing in them so they are better than the catteries in the local area. They do need space outside them for the cats to run around. Single and communal pens i both need, Thanks guys x

So if you know what to do please tell me and if I need to get something from the store make sure it's from Wal-Mart or Target. Thank you :)

Who agrees that the Pens will win the stanley cup? The Pens are the only team in the playoffs to be undefeated so far and seem to get better after every game. Every single player is a producer and the stars on the team are shining brighter than ever. The goaltending has been outstanding since Marc Andre Fleury came back and he seems to be in control of his territory. This is the Pens second time at the playoffs and it seems the motivation factor has rinsen since the previous year.
