Highlighters

will highlighters inks dry up if i dont use them for too long?

i bought a lot at taiwan they are new and used maybe like twicebut i got new highlighters over here too, and am thinking of saving the ones i got from taiwan. if i keep them capped tight, will they still be good about 1 to 3 yrs later, staying in a storage box of writing materials, etc? thanks

1. I believe they will dry up.
2. Yes... they will dry up, the fluids eventually evaporate, you know. I don't know if evaporation can be slowed down by vacuum sealing, though.
