  1. I have a study Bible in which I not only use colored highlighter but also write notes and thoughts as I read and ponder. I think this is a good study tool.
  2. I don't use this personally, however, I see nothing wrong with it and can see where it would be very helpful provided you have a good system.
  3. 1) Do you add colored highlighter pens to your Bible? Nope. Tried that once with an expensive dry guaranteed to not bleed through highlighter - and it still bled through. At that, I was only using it on the marginal references. Colored text is a real pain to read. I don't really understand the need to locate certain passages to the exclusion of most others... 4. Hey there, I gave up on normal highlighters with my last Bible, they just bleed through the paper. SInce I got a new one, I use Bible highlighter pencils from my local Christian bookshop instead! They don't bleed through, but they can be a bit crumbly so don't over sharpen them!!! I think marking verses which God has really used with you, and verses which mark out context in a passage (using different colours) is a great idea. :-)
  5. I never have marked in my Bibles or other holy scriptures. I always considered that defacing the holy writ. Picking and choosing words rather than taking in the whole.
