- Personally, I find my inspiration from my favorite animals, local (web) artists, music and inatimate objects. I'll give you examples of all three to help you get some ideas; ::Animals:: Goldfish, octopie, duogongs (manatees), bees... ::Local (Web) Artists:: I'm going to post one or two in the source, but deviantart.com is a great place to find inspiration! ::Music:: I have no clue what music you listen to, but here are some bands that make me want to draw; MUSE, Tori Amos, Depeche Mode, Leaves' Eyes... ::Objects:: Balloons, spaceships, crayons, astronauts... So get to know yourself better through those four things; I draw all sorts of stuff during school, and become quite proud of them.
- Pictures. OMG
- you dont.. creativity is not tied to a brand of marker.. Cavemen discovered their creativity with charcoal and other compounds they found on the ground.
- I have a huge set of sharpie markers and in most cases just being in proximity of the pens will set my creativity in ,motion, I enjoy doodling just masses of colorful images, that finally end in a conglomerate of one huge picture. I like to draw on things you normally wouldn't, I have went as far as tatooing my guitars with sharpies. I love my Sharpies! If your interested here is my most recent mess. <http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=108395&l=2b8efe06b3&id=1734405440>

- I like to get a Sharpie marker and draw in magazines. Like fashion magazines. I try to make the outfits more creative.
- I just use them for work to write on boxes. I have no creative side.
- Since my job is building constructioneer, I have to draw on wood, all of the steps, where the wood goes, etc. I put different colors on the wood blue= left red= right and green= up and yellow= down. Than we draw the colors in order from the larger line to shorter. The colors are in lines along the sides of the wood or brick we use. The line is always shorter or larger. Never the same size.
- I used to draw on my converse.... till I realized I totally ruined them. lol!
- They smell SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! =) Ohhhh, and I loooooove drawing on people's faces with them when they're sleeping. They're such good quality markers and its so hard to get it off! Thanks Sharpie people!!!!!!!!!

- Very, very large pieces of cardboard paper, clothes and people. I love sharpies. I literally have hundreds.
- I use the silver sharpies to make Christmas Tree ornaments, just like in the advertisements!
- I use them to label my CD's and DVD's. They're pretty good markers, I must say. Inspiration for art with markers...hmm... well, markers are good for making your creations permanent, so I find it inspirational when I need to draw something, and make it last a long time! But why do some markers smell like poop?
- I only use Sharpies to label stuff. For actual creative purposes, I use Prismacolors.
- For METAL usages, like drawing on seats and stuff!
- You have to be creative, not just own a certain marker.
- from the bright colors i see all around me sharpie markers can represent these bold contrasts in color perfectly from that and the graffiti i have grown up seeing all around me in the city these images and ideas together make my variety of bold sharpie colors helps me to create things that colored pencils, paints, and other wanna be markers can't quite capture. (and they are more affordable than the prismacolors)
- Drawing with Sharpies get me through physics class.
- I usually will decorate cases and other things with Sharpie. Also they are great for homework projects because or their bright and solid color. I love just drawing with them, especially with the mini ones. They are one of the only markers that I use because they can be used at any age and are solid built colorful pens.
- Sometimes when i have plenty of spare time....I go out and buy a poster or foam board. Then I Google a cool picture that I want to replicate using the Sharpies. It can take hours but my picture in the end looks more brighter and cooler than the original I copied from!
- I tattoo myself. I am 58 and dont have any tattoos, but i can pretend with sharpie markers :)
- i color/draw on anything i can get my hands on.
- Drawing FU on walls in public places.
- i sniff them
- If a Sharpie is the only medium that I have available when inspiration strikes, it usually means that I'm at the office or bored somewhere in a waiting room. I mostly doodle but do more "designs" than anything. I prefer paint.
- with crazy drawings on friends hands, arms, legs ect
- Creativity is all in the eye of the beholder.... all you do is think about it and draw... it is just that simple
- create tattoos on my arms....apparently the ink seeps into ur blood stream and u die? but i don't believe that. so i do it anyway lol.
- Huh? You usually don't color with sharpies. The feumes get to you if you put too much on the page.
- I draw on people's faces who are passed out drunk.
- i draw on my textbook cover, and in my art class sketchbook :) i also deorated my tortiose's cage with them too :D hehehehehe<3

- I draw a Michael Jackson glove on my hand.
- My CD's! I don't use CD label printers, so I use sharpies to mark and personalize my CD-ROM's. Even a basic black-red-green-blue set makes for wonderful holiday drawings.
- Draww hearts & stars and stuuf llike that on the top of your leggg. it looks really coool (:
- I use them to graffiti on the school desks and doors.
- Here in Los Angeles sharpies are only useful for tagging
- I color with my sister with different colors of sharpies! I also like the smell.
- I doodle with them ,with whatever close to write on ,I love the Metallic ones !
- I use Sharpies for utility purposes... they're permanent markers and that's what I use them for... all my permanent marking needs. Markers DO NOT inspire me for art. In fact, when I was a teacher, I discouraged the use of markers for art. They are just so.. well, permanent. Crayons and pastels can be changed by the amount of pressure you apply. Paint can be mixed and changed with different brushes and brush strokes. Markers are... well, just markers. Markers are good for labels and poster lettering... not art, creativity, or inspiration.
- I draw on everything
- i sometimes use sharpies to cover the dents and scratches on my furniture.
- I use them to write dirty graffiti on bathroom walls.
- draw.
- write "I LUV ERIN" on my friends binders.
- You don't need markers to be "inspired". Personally, I think drawings look awful with markers, especially the permanent kind. A fine pencil sketch is always the best!
