Highlighters

is writing with highlighters and pens on your hand ok?

O.k, so i'm not a big fan of sharpies so i don't use them . but i use pens and highlighters to write stuff on my hand( i don't write stuff if i have a cut ) and i don't do it that often i just do it when ever i feel like it and when i'm bored i think highlighters would be the best for writing on your hand because their " Light " but is it safer to used highlighters and pens rather then sharpies ?
