Highlighters

Is it possible to read a newspaper actively using highlighter pens?

....to highlight obvious agenda-driven content: red for Right, blue for Left, yellow for "obvious propaganda of undetermined motivation".... ...Maybe highlight only quoted statements from newsmakers, politicians, writers, etc.... - What percentage of a given newspaper would be left "unmarked", as simply relating the "news"? - Can the reader do this hightlighting objectively, without pushing a PERSONAL agenda? - Can the reader ferret out "masked" agendas? - Is there a better way to highlight: other color-scheme/system (I just made mine up on the spot)
