What are the best pens for autographing leather baseballs?
Many pens tend to bleed into the leather leaving a fuzzy/blurred look after a couple of days.

- Fine tip sharpies. The tip is still soft so the ball does not get scratched, and it doesn't smudge either.
- A Sharpie, black sharpie.
- sharpie fine point
- sharpies
- I would say ballpoint pens are the best for baseballs.
- i got to Spring Training every year for the past 12 years and i find pens work the best but make sure they do not run, Sharpies are nice but they Fade over a few years....thats no good...i find cheap bic pens work the best
- Sharpie
- I've always tried to use ballpoint pens for baseballs, though you never know what pen a player might use to sign your ball as they go down the line. While I cannot speak for Sharpie Fine Tips, I do know that a regular Sharpie will bleed pretty badly over the run, so I'd stay away from them.
- Sharpies will run, use a ballpoint pen. Blue.
- Sharpie - permanent ink!
